We handle sheds up to approximately 10×12, wood and composite decks, pergolas, hot tubs, above-ground pools, old fencing sections, small outbuildings, and playsets. We do not handle structural demolition that requires a licensed demolition contractor. If your project is larger or structural, Martin will tell you clearly before you commit to anything.
Do I need a permit for shed or deck removal in Portland?

We quote a flat project price on-site after Martin assesses the structure. The price covers both demo labor and debris haul. There is no separate demolition charge and a separate haul charge stacked on top. What Martin quotes on-site is what you pay, and you approve it before we pick up a single tool.

A standard shed teardown runs 2 to 4 hours. Hot tub removal and deck removal vary more depending on size, materials, and access. Martin gives you an honest time window on-site based on what he sees. Most light demo jobs are wrapped up and cleared in a single half-day visit.
Can you handle a hot tub removal by yourself or do you need a crew?
Hot tub removal always requires multiple people and the right equipment. We never attempt it with a single person. We come prepared with the crew and tools the job calls for, assess the site access, and remove the unit safely. Tight deck access or uneven ground adds time, but we handle it.
