Do you meet me at the storage facility?
Yes. We meet you at your storage facility anywhere in the Portland metro area. You do not need to haul anything to a separate location or rent your own truck. We bring our truck to the site, load everything on-site, and take it from there. Just coordinate access and we handle the rest.
Can you clear a storage unit in one trip?
Most standard storage units, including 5×10, 10×10, and 10×20 sizes, can be cleared in a single trip. Larger units or heavily packed spaces may require more than one load. When you call, describe the unit size and the general type of contents. Martin will give you an honest estimate of what to expect before we schedule.
Do I need to be present for the entire cleanout?
You need to be present to provide access and confirm what you want removed. Once the unit is open, the scope is confirmed, and we are loading, you can step away and return at the end if that works better for your schedule. We contact you when the unit is cleared and ready for you to hand over the keys.
What do you do with usable items from the storage unit?
Usable items in good condition are donated to local donation centers when possible. Recyclable materials are recycled where possible. Items that cannot be donated or recycled go to certified disposal facilities. We sort after the cleanout and route items accordingly. We do not simply haul everything to a landfill without sorting first.
